Meet Bonny
The tale of Bonnybrooke Farm.
Folks often ask how all this got started. Well, I fell in love with Eureka Springs years ago, with its winding streets and quaint little shops. And then came this beautiful mountaintop, with its huge old oaks, grapevines and a little canning cottage. That's where our story begins...

The first cottages
It started with two old buildings.
We fixed up the little canning cottage and called it Wildwood. That's our Garden of Eden today. When we needed room for more guests, I had my eye on the old barn. Why they put the barn where the best view was, I'll never know! We opened up the wall, put in a glass front and built a deck. And there was Barn Rose! Even the old grapevine came back to shade the porch swing.
I built the next cottage around a favorite thing of mine, a solarium. We couldn't find a name that fit until one Easter morning when the whole sky turned pink. Our guests that weekend had been here before, and they left us a name on their way out. They'd seen it too! Morning Glory it was.

Atop Misty Mountain
Which one is my favorite?
Summershade started with a drawing on a napkin and an idea for a porch swing inside. These days, its swing is outside on the winding double deck. And Moonflower had to go where you could see that big orange full moon come up over the mountain.
People ask me to pick a favorite, and I can't do it. They're like children. I love every one! Heart and soul have been poured into each one.
The Lord and Bonnybrooke have been good to me. And I’m not through dreaming...
