Around Misty Mountain

A weekend in Eureka Springs.

We fell in love with this little Victorian town and its winding streets. If you feel like coming down off the mountain for a bit, here are a few ways to spend the day.

Three days in the Ozarks

A little of this and a little of that.

Friday

Arrive on the mountain.

Come while there’s still a little daylight to walk past the water garden and stop by the pond. Then it’s dinner in town, or a quiet evening with your feet up at the cottage.

See the Bonnybrooke grounds

Saturday

A chapel in the woods, then into town.

Take a look at Thorncrown Chapel tucked among the trees. All that glass lets the woods right in. Then go see what you find in the little shops and galleries along Main and Spring streets.

Sunday

Take a walk by the lake.

One last little outing before you head home. Take a walk by the water at Lake Leatherwood or stop and look out from the old limestone dam.
